Conversion
Each band has its own sources:
- audible: Drumcaps (biomass), the Aeolian Harp
- infrasound: the Water Turbine (4 Hz, slow gear), the Mixer fed by drumcaps
- ultrasound: the Harmonic Multiplier fed by drumcaps
Free sources have a tone from their build; drumcaps are tuned by hand.
Later the Octave Converter (it needs a Resonant Crystal) moves any tone like a gearbox: in at its back, out at its front an octave up (×2) or down (÷2), losing 10%. Click to switch the way. A chain moves several octaves and crosses bands: a turbine’s 4 Hz → 8 Hz (normal gear) → 16 Hz (fast gear). Its input and output are separate lines.
