Fairy Rings
A sporangium cannot be made: it has to be found asleep. In forests, taigas, plains and meadows look for a ring of small pale Fairy Ring Champignons. In its centre, under a breath of spores, lies a Dormant Mycelium.
It hums one quiet low note, different in every ring. Hold the Wave Detector near it: the list names the note. Set your Hand Tuning Fork to it (any octave) and strike it within six blocks. Off the note the mycelium only stirs, and the bar says how close you are: cold, cool, warm, a semitone off.
On the note it wakes and gives up a Sporangium of its own wild strain; each ring holds a different one. Breed more from its spore prints later.
