Hand Tuning Fork

Hand Tuning Fork Hand Tuning Fork

A fork you carry. A short right click strikes it: it rings where you stand and fades, exciting receivers like the block fork.

Hold right click to open the tuning wheel:

  • inner ring: octave 3, 4 or 5;
  • middle ring: the twelve notes;
  • outer ring: cents, ±50 in steps of 5.

Point at a segment to pick it; you hear the new pitch. Release to tune, Esc to cancel.

Sneak + right click on a resonator, machine, resonant body or singing sporangium gives it exactly the fork’s pitch.

While held, the fork is a tuner: the bar above the hotbar shows the loudest wave you hear and the beats against the fork. Zero beats: in tune.
